Friends scored a reservation in the San Juan this weekend, so we tagged along. Driving up to San Juan on Friday, we caught our first Pikachu on the ferry as we were driving in! Woohoo!The next day, went kayaking via Discovery Kayak. Supposedly it was to be a whale watching kayak experience - but because of the season and also how close we were to the shore, we didn't really see any whales.
Our tour guide was a pretty old dude, and spent a good hour talking about safety (we should have told him that we knew how to kayak instead of saying we were beginners). We didn't really see much because we only kayaked about 0.82 miles in a 3 hour excursion.
Because we were given the lazy tour, we were able to enjoy the sunset and take quite a few pictures.
For the rest of the time there, we drove around the island. Saw an alpaca farm, a sculpture park, and a lavender farm.
